She retired in 2013, and spent the rest of her life with her handler, Jason Johnson- the founder of Project K-9 Hero, celebrating her as the inspiration for the organization's founding . Her heroic efforts earned her 2018 Dog of the Year, and not one but two children's books detailing her inspiring story.

A portion of proceeds from the sale of this toy will go to support their work providing medical care, food, and death benefit assistance for our nation’s retired Police and Military Working Dogs.
